Indian Music classes
I am trained in North Indian Classical vocal music. For this I studied at Codarts Rotterdam amd graduated in 2005 as bachelor of music. My teacher was the late Sri Koustov Roy from Calcutta. I have studied South Indian Classical music every time I went to India and had several teachers for this.
South Indian music
I teach Indian music Classes to a small group of students. I also teach the basics of Carnatic music to dance students as part of the curriculum for exams in dance. I love the music and it is a pleasure for me to sing during the dance classes and teach the songs to my students.
I perform as a vocal artist myself and have done a small number of concerts. The purpose is to sing the South Indian compositions that accompany the dance.
